There are SO many equestrian products and brands out there. The market is saturated with products with a variety of features, claims and price points. Here are a few of my favorite equestrian brands...in no particular order and I'm sure there are many more I can't think of at the moment! RJ Classic Gulf Breeches PC: R.J. Classics There just aren't enough good things to say about these breeches! They are lightweight for summer so you don't overheat while riding. The fabric is super soft and moves with you in the tack. The wide waistband is great for a wide variety of belts -- see my favorite belt below -- without restricting movement. Not yet available in quite the array of colors that TS comes in, but the choices are lovely and RJ just released a few new colors. You can find them on the RJ Classics website or at many online and local tack shops. Devoucoux I am TEAM GREEN through and through. When I was saddle shopping for Wow, this was the only saddle that fit Wow and that I was comfortable riding in. It put me in a great position, provided just the right seat depth, and was super comfortable. I tried so many different saddles before finding mine online and after one ride I knew it was meant to be. I feel like I could work for Devoucoux after my saddle research. MDC Hunter Classic Stirrups O-M-G you guys! Seriously, the MDC Hunter Classic Stirrups are ahh-mazing! The wide tread provides stability especially if you have bad knees, like me and probably many other equestrians! I'm not a fan of the jointed stirrups but knew I needed something to help with my knee and hip discomfort. They look gorgeous on any saddle and I've gotten so many compliments on them. And not to mention the support increase for my lower leg -- not saying these are magical stirrups, but I'm not saying they're not! I'm hooked for life!  SPONSORED AD SmartPakI mean this should be obvious, but yeah...SmartPak is an equestrian's best friend! From just about anything you can need for your equine partner, to monograms and name plates, to free shipping to the barn or for orders $75 or more....seriously what could be better?! Well, I'll tell ya -- their customer service is TOP NOTCH. About two years ago I ordered bell boots for Wow and needless to say they didn't work out. I reviewed them, praised the quality but noted that they rubbed my sensitive TB so I couldn't give them 5 stars. Nothing nasty, but the truth. Read about the experience that made me a SmartPak-er for LIFE. Exceptional Equestrian If you haven't had the pleasure of shopping at Exceptional Equestrian, you're really missing out big time! I met Cindy at HITS Ocala last year and purchased an amazing gray snakeskin Sandy Duffler spur belt. They have a wide array of equestrian apparel for both the show ring and every day! If you see the Exceptional Equestrian trailer at a horse show, it's a must-stop shopping trip! Samshield MissShield Shadow Matte A classic look, a great fit, and sun protection....you just can't beat it. To be completely honest, I wasn't a fan when these helmets first debuted, but once I tried it on at a horse show (thanks Farm House Tack!) I was instantly in love. I ordered mine through a local tack store here in Virginia Beach and it came in pretty quickly. It fits my head nicely with my hair up; I always wear it this way. Hairnets for life!! The padding in the helmet makes for a comfortable fit while still keeping you as cool as possible, which is essential during the summer! You can shop Samshield online or you can find them in your local tack shop! Sawhorse Tack TrunkI customized a tack trunk from Sawhorse Tack Trunks. Enough said. I'm one of those 'have to wear a belt' people even when my pants 'fit.' I just find it more comfortable to wear a belt -- usually. These stretchy, one-size-fits-all belts are perfection! They are streamline and don't show a buckle bulge under your show coat (you know what I'm talkin' about!) but seriously keep your pants where they're supposed to be! AND....they're so pretty! Available in awesome colors to wear with any ROOTD, and sturdy gold, silver or even rose gold hardware! Yeah, let's hear it: "Oooh!* "Aaaah!"
