Taylor is from Virginia Beach, VA and has been riding for as long as remembers. She grew up on a farm and got her first pony when she was three. She currently rides with Chris Wynne out of his Breckenridge Manor Farm and has been riding with him for around thirteen or fourteen years. She started on the A circuit when she was nine years old and has never looked back, making her first trip to indoors at eleven years old on her small pony Benlea Neptune. Taylor currently has three horses and has plans to breed her mare again in the spring. Her A/O horse, Snowbound (Jordy), is currently rehabbing and should be back to showing this Summer. In the meantime, she is lucky enough to get to show a horse named Buttonwood (Wally) in the Adults. His owner is a busy mom who doesn’t get to show as often as she would like to but still likes for him to go to the shows. Taylor also has her retired junior hunter named Rejoice (Moxie) who is now a broodmare. Moxie has given birth to two foals, one of which is owned by Taylor. His name is Quiver and his sire is Windsor’s Qui Dandy (Quidam De Revel/Cassini II). Some of her favorite accomplishments include: winning a class in the Older Large Juniors at WIHS on Rejoice; Reserve Champion at ANRC in college; ending up Grand Champion Adult Amateur three years in a row as well as Best Adult Rider in two of those years at the Upperville Colt and Horse Show with Keep the Faith and Rejoice; placing 9th in the NAL Adult Hunter Finals at Harrisburg on Keep The Faith; and earning Circuit Champion at Aiken on Prime Time in the Younger Adults...just to name a few.
