One End Leads to a New Beginning

Being a Navy wife leads to lots of ends and new beginnings. With that, sadly our time in Jacksonville Beach has come to an end and we'll be PCSing (or moving due to hubby's new job) to Virginia Beach this summer. This has meant looking for a new place to live, a new job and a new barn family.

Goodbyes are the hardest part of PCSing. You spend three years somewhere and the relationships built make it even harder to leave...especially when you love a city as much as I love Jacksonville Beach. I've come to adore the barn friends that have turned into family and SO much has happened during our time in Jacksonville; #AdultAmmyStrong was founded; we adopted our first [and second] dog together; we were engaged and married; we bought and are still in the process of renovating a condo; we bought Wow; and so much more. I really am a lucky girl!

Looking for a new place to live in a city you've never been to is tough. Looking for a new barn is even harder. However, I'm lucky enough to have been given some great advice from people I've met through #AdultAmmyStrong. You guys really do more than you know! Like any good horse mom, I'm quite picky about where Wow will live and the care he will receive. We are quite the quirky pair and have specific needs to progress in our training.

I have LOVED every minute at HaddenLoch and it will be very hard to leave my barn family -- it's hard to even think about it and it's a few months away -- but what we've been through and what they've done for me will stay with me always. And should we make our way back to Jacksonville *fingers crossed in a few years!* we will definitely return to HaddenLoch. How could we not?!

So, since this moving process is starting unfortunately the shop will be closing for a little while during our transition. I may be a little off the radar between May and June, but I promise to continue to create a community that connects and supports the adult amateur equestrians!

Also - PLEASE do not send any more mail to the PO Box as that will no longer be a valid address.

-xoxo-
Sarah
